ELEPHONE M3 is first $199 Helio P10

Image
Pictured, 3GB, touch ID, 5.5 FHD display MediaTek is shipping both mainstream /performance Helio P10s and Helio X20 higher-end SoCs. The phone manufacturers are finishing up the phones and some designs including ELEPHONE M3 will get this cool chip for $199.  ELEPHONE M3 is a 3GB 5.5 inch Full HD phone with a MediaTek Helip P10 which is also known  as MTK6755 SoC . This SoC has eight cores and it works at a top speed of 2.0GHz. The new SOC has significantly upgraded its dual-core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU that should make the games run much faster than the MTK6753 and MTK6752. Compared to MTK6752 P10 the power consumption should be lower than 30 percent while improving the performance by 20 percent.  The ELEPHONE M3 has a fingerprint reader (Touch ID), weighs 155 grams and is 7.7 millimetre thick. It measures 149.99mm x 74.3mm x 7.7mm. The phone ships with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and supports a micro SD card up to 128GB. We wonder what would happen we shoved a 200 GB Sandisk

The Elephone P9000 Unboxing The Elephone P9000 is the first Mediatek Helio P10 phone we have managed to get our hands on so far, and the first Mediatek phone we have used running Android 6.0! If these details weren’t enough this phone offers a nice lightweight design, wonderful 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 4GB RAM, NFC, and even wireless charging. You can read my  Elephone P9000 first impressions here,  and I plan to test the 13 mega-pixel camera and run benchmarks in the coming days. If you have any questions about the Elephone P9000 please let me know in the comments below.
