Elephone M3 looks very attractive for just $99 Elephone M3 looks very attractive for just $99 Hot on the heels of the  Elephone  M1 and M2 all metal business phones comes this bit of Elephone M3 news. Just like the 2 previous releases Elephone have once again chosen an all metal construction for the body of the M3, looking at the renders its a nice looking handset with 2.5d glass (hopefully the phone will look this good when it is ready to ship out). What will set this phone apart is the addition of previously flagship only features such as the inclusion of a USB type C charging port and the fact that it will ship with Android os6 Marshmallow. We have all been tricked by Elephone’s renders in the past that showed zero bezel when in fact there was a lot of bezel, enough bezel for two phones in some cases, but perhaps we can give them the benefit of the doubt this time round? If we just rewind a little.  Elephone  will release 3 versions of the P9000, and the flagship model is the version that is touted as a bezel free phone. Chances are the other two are going to get the black bezel treatment (ala P7000) but the top of the range P9000 is going to have screen running from edge to edge. Yes, actually I can hear what most of you are saying now and I too will believe it when I see it, but in the meantime Elephone have released renders of the phone and the bezel-less design. We can also see from the render that the side of the P9000 is CNC machined alloy (similar to the Xiaomi Mi4) and the display has a 2.5D curve to it. Elephone Trunk Ota update I had a good surprise yesterday, whilst away in Dubai I received notification of an Elephone Trunk Ota update. If you currently own an Elephone Trunk you will no doubt have been impressed with the phone, except for one major problem the 8mp (interpolated to 13mp) rear camera, had realy big issues with focusing, I would say that 1 in 10 pictures would achieve anything resembling a passable picture. I spoke directly with Elephone about a week ago and they advise that an updated firmware was coming soon and that it should fix the focusing issue. Thankfully having downloaded and installed the rom, I can confirm that the camera now focuses without issue and the images produced are not bad quality considering the phones bargain price.
