Qulacomm’s  Snapdragon 820  chipset has been unveiled as the company’s latest flagship mobile SoC which is still not available for those OEMs who are expected to go with the upcoming and powerful Qualcomm SD 820 processor on its 2016 flagship smartphones. It is expected to be made available to OEM in early 2016, actually launched today in China and has been made its appearance on AnTuTu benchmarks website. It’s now official. In China, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 has managed to score an impressive 131,648 on AnTuTu. Probably, it been the highest ranking seen on any of the current chipsets. It was also shown that a prototype phone running the SD820 chip, performance on phone was demoed which was equipped with Snapdragon 820, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, QHD display, fingerprint sensor and 21MP rear-facing camera. Final version of Apple’s iOS 9.2 indeed brought with it largely bug fixes and the odd feature update here and there. Now that it appears, is official support for the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter on compatible iPhones. Past, the adapter was unofficially supported, but the whole thing has actually got full official Apple support. Elephone announces special flash sale, phones going from $12.12 Elephone (everyone’s favourite!) have announced that they will be having flash sales on the 12th, 16th, 17th and 18th of December, with devices such as the Elephone P8000, P6000 Pro, M2, S2 and S2 Plus going on sale for as low as $12.12 (Because 12th December, geddit?). Elephone have yet to fully announce the details of this flash sale, so we still don’t know if there what other devices will be offered, if any at all. Elephone’s 4K action camera, the Elephone Explorer is in the house and like other Chinese action cameras it comes with decent specs, a ton of accessories and at a low price. Elephone have diversified their range so that it now includes an E-cig and now an action camera. The Elephone Explorer is the name of the low-cost sports camera, and like other Chinese cameras (Xiao Yi, SJCAM) it costs just a fraction of the price of a GoPro and ships with a ton of accessories. Elephone Explorer Action Camera Like SJCAM and Xiao Yi, Elephone have gone for a GoPro design and include a waterproof case with the action camera, but unlike a GoPro there are additional buttons on the body and a rear screen.
