Elephone Products Conference 2016 to be held on 15th of January

Elephone will be officially introducing several products as part of their Elephone Products Conference 2016, the P9000 series handsets will be introduced along with full product details, most of these are well documented but importantly we should find out official pricing as well as getting a look at the finished products, the phone that I am most excited to see is the P9000 Edge as whilst the P9000 and the P9000 Lite have been covered as part of the crowd funding promotion, the Edge has yet to be seen in the wild.

hopefully they will live up to the renders that have been supplied by Elephone so far.

Elephone will also be giving more details of the W2 watch, from what we know so far it will feature a stainless steel watch case which they say will be comparable in quality to those produced by higher end watches from the likes of Longines and Ronda, along with internals that are the same as those used by makers like Cartier, these are bold statements to make and I hope that the watch lives up to them.

The W2 is also said to support smart functions such as  sports and sleep monitoring, call reminders, sedentary reminders and is compatible with both android and IOS operating systems.

The watch also comes with an illumination night light, if the pictures provided by Elephone are correct this actually looks really nice.

Overall the design is visually pleasing and the inclusion of a changeable real leather watch strap give it a nice touch of style.

Elephone have hinted that they will be giving a 50% discount option on the watch if purchased through the Elephone Products Conference 2016, however we will have to wait till the 15th to find out what hoops we will have to jump through to take advantage of the offer, or if it will be limited to a certain number.

Another handset that has received some coverage and looks very promising will also be covered at the Elephone Products Conference 2016, the M3 Business phone will come in two different specification levels, the top of which includes a 5.5″ LG screen，21MP Sony230 camera, USB Type-C 3.0, fingerprint scanner and Android 6.0 putting it up there with the P9000 handsets, the differences between the two versions will be in camera and memory specifications.

Both M3 varients add network B to the mix, meaning that they can be used all around the world including America.

Design wise the aviation grade aluminium body will be available in rose gold, champagne gold and smoky grey

Finally there will be a fourth product covered at the launch, Elephone are describing this as a “mysterious to surprise you”, what do you think it will be? another phone? perhaps another Vape unit? possibly a drone? we will have to wait for the Elephone Products Conference 2016 to find out for sure.

Elephone have advised that they will be updating their official Facebook, twitter, Google+, and VK accounts constantly throughout the day, so that you can keep up with the updates as they happen.

I have been using my Elephone P8000 since the 1st of January having lost my Samsung S5 and I would have to say that the handset has come on leaps and bounds with recent updates making it a decent phone, if they had launched it with the most recent firmware it would have been a lot more sucessful, but at least it shows they are making headway.
